On September 1st, a press conference was held at the Meliá São João da Madeira Hotel, located in the historic Palacete dos Condes Dias Garcia. The event was attended by the CEO of the Hoti Hotels Group, Miguel C. Proença, other board members, and the Mayor of São João da Madeira, Jorge Vultos Sequeira.

The hotel officially opened on August 15th and is the group’s first project under the Revive program. “The Revive program represents a first experience for us, but it has held enormous value from the start: it is about breathing new life into assets that were underutilized or in ruins, promoting their redevelopment and integration into a sector where viability depends on their preservation,” highlighted Miguel C. Proença.
