HOTI HOTEIS INITIATES THE MANAGEMENT OF COSTA DA CAPARICA HOTEL
The Hotel Costa da Caparica, located near the sea, on the most extensive and one of the most famous beaches in the Lisbon area, joined the Caparica Spring Surf Fest, an Event that for 10 days brings together surf lovers of all generations, and music to celebrate the arrival of spring!

The association of the Hotel Costa da Caparica to the surf Festival takes place in the same week that this hotel unit started operating under the umbrella of Hoti Hotels Group, one of the most dynamic and important Portuguese hotel chains. Equipped with 352 rooms spread over seven floors, and only 20 minutes from downtown Lisbon and the airport, the Hotel Costa da Caparica is, by its location, closely linked to the sea and water sports. This is a trend that the leaders of the Group Hoti now want to deepen.

Coinciding with the Association of Hotel Costa da Caparica to Caparica Spring Surf Fest, it was also inaugurated this Saturday, March 26, the Surf Museum, located in the building adjacent to the hotel, which will become the first space dedicated to the memory of this modality in Portugal. Neighboring to the well-known Lufi surf school, the museum brings together an important collection of vintage pieces, including photos, old boards (some autographed by legends of the sport), facts of the past century, keels, books and videos.

About the link of the Hotel Costa da Caparica to the surfing universe and the Caparica Spring Surf Fest , Miguel Proenca , Hoti Group administrator, explains : ” The Hoti HOTELS is committed to enhance and development the Beach Hotels segment and potentiate the practice of nautical sports. It is in this context that fits the commencement of the Hotel Costa da Caparica by the group and strengthening its vocation as a unit linked to nautical activities, particularly the surf that had in this area its birthplace in Portugal , in the 60’s”
Miguel Proença adds: “Our Association To Caparica Spring Surf Fest is a clear sign of the thematic nature that we want to print in the future to this hotel, which seeks to be also an engine of development and modernization of the region where it operates.”

Formed in 1979, the Hoti Hotéis Group is a hotel chain whose capital is 100% Portuguese. It is the 6th largest group with a national presence and the 2nd largest in terms of its provision of services to third parties.
