MANUEL PROENÇA NAMED “HOTEL INDUSTRY’S MANAGER OF THE YEAR”

MANUEL PROENÇA NAMED “HOTEL INDUSTRY’S MANAGER OF THE YEAR” AT THE AMADEUS BRIGHTER AWARDS 2014.
Manuel Proença, the Chairman of the Hoti Hotéis Group, has just been awarded the prize for the “Manager of the Year in the Hotel Industry”, at the 2nd Amadeus Brighter Awards 2014. The ceremony took place at the Teatro Tivoli (Lisbon) and recognised eleven important personalities within the Tourism sector in 2014.

Manuel Proença said this award “is recognition for the work performed in recent years to benefit Tourism in Portugal. Hoti Hotéis is dedicated to boosting one of this country’s major assets, and awards like this are a great incentive for us to continue on the path we have carved out and to keep improving every day”.

At the event in which people such as António Costa, the Mayor of Lisbon, and Fernando Pinto, the Chairman of TAP, also won awards, it was the Chairman of one of Portugal’s largest hotel groups who won the award recognising excellence in Hotel management.

Formed in 1979, the Hoti Hotéis Group is a hotel chain with 100% Portuguese capital, and is the 6th largest group with a national presence and the 2nd largest hotel group offering management services to third parties.
